Library event: 100th Anniversary of the publication of Ulysses

Come and celebrate what many believe to be the most important novel ever written: Ulysses by James Joyce. We will be viewing a short film interview with the publisher, Sylvia Beach, do a group reading of a few key passages from the book, hear a talk about the censorship and burning of the book in the ’20s, and a special short talk from Dr. Reed Bye, a Joyce scholar.
