Women’s Wednesdays Mountain Hikes: Golden Gate State Park
Planned Hike: Golden Gate State Park
Moderate Hike (3-4 mi)
Hike in the beautiful Rocky Mountains with Adwoa Lemieux as your guide!
EVERY WEDNESDAY JUNE 7TH – AUGUST 9TH
Build community as you hike & learn!
We will meet and hike each week exploring the trails near Nederland Colorado. We will build our hikes on where the wildflowers are! Each week a new place, new views and a new perspective. Hikes will include Arapahoe Pass, Forest Lakes, Glacier View, Niwot Ridge, Golden Gate State Park trails and more!
Our goal will be to blend the physicality of hiking together with the botanical beauty of the wild flowers. We will learn about tracks and scat, the history of our chosen trails, identifying flowers and learning about edible wildflowers/herbal uses. We will also enjoy the social aspects of being together as a community of women. The pace will match the group as a whole and inspire each other along the way.
